Design Capabilities

SEI has a staff of full and part time Engineers to design, develop and install aircraft avionic and recording systems.  The expertise encompasses electronic hardware, mechanical, firmware and software development.  In addition, SEI’s Engineering staff has performed the following tasks:

·        Aircraft modification and installation design

·        Cable harness design

·        Cable manufacturing drawings

·        Installation kit design

·        Installation drawings

·        Routine Action and Record Purpose airframe changes

·        Loads and stress analysis

·        Safety analysis

·        Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) preparation

·        Design Change Notices (DCN’s)

·        Source data generation

 As part of the development and integration process, the Engineering staff accomplished development of the following types of documents:
