SEI has traditionally maintained a strong engineering staff of Electrical, Mechanical and Computer Science Engineers. SEI’s engineers are trained in its ISO9001, AS9100 and AS9006 procedures. This ensures on-time delivery of quality hardware, software, data, studies and reports. The full resources of the Engineering Department, their personnel’s experience, and the company’s facilities are available for expedient resolution of any program issues.

SEI’s engineering staff consists of degreed engineers from fully accredited universities. All have more than 10 years experience in the design, development and field support of military, industrial and commercial electronic systems. In addition, SEI’s engineering staff draws upon its vast experience from a variety of industries encompassing small, medium, and large companies. This allows SEI to rapidly adapt to new markets, products and challenges.

SEI’s engineers work directly with Marketing, Purchasing, Accounting, Production and Customers. This real world, hands-on experience helps ensure successful, smooth running programs, resulting in satisfied customers. SEI’s customers have always had direct access to its Engineering staff. Since SEI is a small company, this allows its staff to respond to requests quickly.

The digital design team is capable of microprocessor, microcontroller and PLD projects, including embedded firmware development. Design tools include PCAD schematic and PCB layout, pSpice, and Keil embedded development tools.

SEI handles the complete design task, from circuit design, packaging, thermal analysis, documentation, qualification, and production support.
