SEI determines the requirements specified by the customer, including the requirements for delivery and post-delivery activities. Requirements not stated by the customer, but necessary for specified use or intended use, are reviewed and resolved prior to the delivery of the product or service. Any customer and/or or regulatory agency requirements are determined and acted upon by SEI.
As one of the measurements of the performance of the QMS, SEI monitors information relating to customer perception as to whether or not the organization has met customer requirements. The methods for obtaining and using this information may include list the methods such as; customer surveys, customer feedback, field service inspection reports, and evaluation of warranty feedback when and where applicable.
