SEI has established, documented, implemented a Quality Management System (QMS) and continually improves its effectiveness in accordance with the requirements of the standards, ISO 9001-2000, AS9100B Aerospace, and AS9006 (Software supplement to AS9100B).
SEI maintains its Quality Management System by:
Identifying the processes needed for its QMS and their application throughout the organization.
Determining the sequence and interaction of these Processes, Procedures, Work Instructions, and flow charts that are associated with them.
Determining the criteria and methods needed to ensure that both the operation and control of processes are effective.
Ensuring availability of resources and information necessary to support the operation and monitoring of these processes.
Monitoring, measuring, and analyzing, these processes.
Implementing actions necessary to achieve planned results and continual improvement of these processes.
Management of these processes is accomplished in accordance with the requirements of the above referenced standards.
The responsibilities of Managers and Employees are described within the practices, procedures, work instructions, and other documents that comprise the Quality System processes for management, resources, measurements, and product realization.
Outsourced processes that could impact or affect product or service conformity or requirements are controlled per the Interdepartmental Procedure 7.4.0-01-00-IP, Purchasing.
SEI’s Quality Management System includes processes for management activities, provision of resources, product realization and measurement.
