Reliability and Maintainability Safety

Where appropriate, SEI identifies the product by suitable means throughout product realization.  This includes identification of product status with respect to monitoring and measurement requirements.  Where traceability is a requirement, SEI controls and records the unique identification of the product to maintain and identify any differences between the actual configuration and the agreed configuration.

SEI ensures a traceability requirement, and controls and records of product are assigned during the product life.  Identification is maintained.  All raw materials are traceable through manufacturing to the end destination (delivery or scrap).  The identity of an assembly and its components and next higher assembly can be traced with unique identifiers, and a sequential record of its assembly and inspection can be retrieved through configuration control of specific records.
